Exhibition Statement:

Ctrl [Alt] Self reflects on the growing dependence and relationship with digital environments through painting, installation, and video. Whether online or off, scrolling content transfers from person to person, moving from screen to memory and back. Messages stream from all angles through the inundation of the virtual, motivating consumption in the material world. These three artists explore the external torrent of information vs. the internal inclination to shift inward.
